FAQs About Verón Plant Based Vegan Macarons
Are your products Vegan?
Yes! Verón is a 100% vegan company so all of our products are always plant based and cruelty-free. Additionally we never use palm oil, gluten, soy, corn, or artificial food coloring/flavors.
Are your macarons gluten-free?
Yes, all of our macarons are made with almond flour. However, wheat is used at our artisanal kitchen for other products, so the macarons are not made in a dedicated gluten-free facility. We will be in a 100% gluten free facility when our retail shop opens in September 2022.
What are your ingredients?
All of our macarons have a base of organic almond flour, organic sugar, and a tapioca and vegetable based egg replacer. Pure ingredients are added to flavor and color each variety of macaron. Our buttercreams are made with an in house created shortening which has a grape seed oil and cocoa butter base. Specific ingredients for each flavor are listed on product pages.
How long do your macarons stay fresh?
Freshness is dependent upon storage. Here's the breakdown:
- Room Temp: 2-3 days
- Refrigerated: 2 weeks
- Frozen: up to 2 months
If you choose to keep them at room temp or refrigerated then you can enjoy immediately. For frozen macarons set the macarons on the counter for 15-20 minutes for them to thaw and enjoy. Summer pro tip: Enjoy after 5 minutes out of the freezer for a delicious colder treat on a hot day!

Can I order macarons wholesale for my retail shop, restaurant, catering company, or hotel?
Yes we love making our macarons more and more available! Our macarons are designed for serving at coffee and tea shops, hotels, restaurants, gourmet boutiques, bakeries, specialty shops and more. We currently offer 18 flavors and many packaging options. Macarons should be kept frozen to stay to ensure longer shelf life.
